Vandalay Brands is proud to celebrate Irish culture and community storytelling by supporting the 11th Annual Irish American Movie Hooley, taking place September 26–28, 2025, at the historic Wilmette Theatre.
As the only Irish American film festival in the world, the Movie Hooley brings together filmmakers, actors, and audiences for three days of powerful cinema that shines a light on both Irish and Irish American experiences.
This year’s lineup features King Frankie starring international actor Peter Coonan, the darkly comic Dead Man’s Money with Judith Roddy, and Fire Department Inc., a Chicago-based labor union documentary by writer-director Colin Hughes. Each film promises not only gripping storytelling but also meaningful conversations with the artists themselves, who will be present for discussions after the screenings.

Pescadero Seafood and Oyster Bar Hosts the After-Movie Reception
To cap off the weekend of film, Vandalay Brands will host special after-movie receptions at Pescadero Seafood and Oyster Bar in downtown Wilmette. Just steps from the Wilmette Theatre, Pescadero provides the perfect setting for filmmakers, festival guests, and community members to gather, enjoy coastal-inspired cuisine, and continue conversations sparked by the films. From freshly shucked oysters to signature seafood dishes and craft cocktails, the reception will showcase Pescadero’s warm hospitality in a lively, celebratory atmosphere.
Continuing Our Commitment to Culture and Community
At Vandalay Brands, we believe that food, film, and culture all share a common purpose: to bring people together. Supporting the Irish American Movie Hooley aligns with our mission to enrich the communities we serve, whether through authentic dining experiences, special events, or cultural partnerships.
We are honored to play a role in this year’s festival and look forward to welcoming guests of the Hooley to Pescadero for a memorable evening of food, film, and fellowship.
